An implant needs enough bone around it to be stable and long-lasting. When there is not enough bone, we restore it — before or at the same time as the implant is placed. This procedure is charged separately and only when it is needed; it is always stated in the plan before any procedure.

What the treatment looks like
1. Assessment on a 3D scan — how much bone is missing and where.
2. The procedure — augmentation or sinus lift, under local anaesthesia; for smaller defects at the same time as implant placement.
3. Healing period — its length is stated in the treatment plan.
4. Implant placement — according to the standard protocol; the implant is free.
